Strong security for our clients, candidates and other Hellomonday confidential information is becoming more critical every day. New advanced cybersecurity threats and legal compliance requirements have prompted us to introduce what is known as Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) for all Hellomonday staff. Many of you would already be familiar with MFA through online banking and what we are using here is largely the same.

What is MFA?
Hellomonday has added an extra layer of protection to your account for increased security. This is called Two-step authentication, meaning a second verification method has been added to Hellomonday systems to ensure it is you accessing your account.
Why do we need it?
The Authenticator App process removes the ability for a hacker to get easy access to your account, it is more secure than the current SMS process and a quicker log-on experience for staff.
How does this impact me?
All staff with a Hellomonday.com email address will need to have MFA set up when they are accessing their account remotely.
If you have not used the Authenticator app before you will need to download this app and follow the attached instructions.
The Authenticator is easy to use once set up and removes the need to add codes on login.
Please use the attached instructions to install/update the Authenticator app to use MFA.
It will take approximately 10 minutes and can be done from your office computer. You will also need your mobile phone.
How will I know if the update is working?
When you log in remotely you will be prompted to APPROVE or DENY on your phone.
